Like most artists, Sam likes to be creative with color.
Sometimes Sam colors on paper.
Sam makes beautiful pictures.
Other times, Sam colors on things like Sister's bedspread.
"Hmmm", says Sister.
Sometimes Sam colors on clothes, like the time
she wanted orange polka dots on her shirt instead of white.
Sometimes Sam wishes she was old enough to wear make-up so she colors on her face.
"SAM!", says mom, "You must color on paper, not on things!"
"Yes!" "Yes!" agrees Sam. "Me's color on paper!"
"Good job!", says Mom.
The next day mom walks into her bedroom....
"Oh dear", says mom when she looks at the window
.
"SAM", Mom calls.
(Sam is in the kitchen having a snack.
Drawing on windows has made Sam hungry.)
"Sam, did you color on the window?", asks Mom.
Sam nods.
"Oh Sam", Mom sighs.
"You will need to clean up the window."
Sam cleans up the window.
Mom reminds Sam to color on paper next time.
"Yes!", agrees Sam. "Me's color on paper!"
"Good job Sam.", says Mom.

She is soo cute. I think I actually made a little nursery progress with her yesterday too! Yeah!
The Love Magnet also has her Picasso moments. A few months ago it was with brown marker on our comforter. Yesterday it was with a yellow Sharpie on our new down comforter to replace the other one. She also drew lines up each leg and down each arm just in time for church.
Brittany used to color all over everything too. :)
Okay...where are your links to all your friends' blogs??? They have disappeared. Don't you know that is how I get my daily blog fix?? You had saved me the time of adding them to mine. :) I miss them. Put them back!! And how did you get the date of the last post to show??
We have an identically decorated bedspread in Beth's room (it was Beth who did it, not Mary) I can't believe how big Sam is!
I feel your pain! Jack took a permanent marker around the whole perimeter of Grandma Sharp's room once.....it was scary.
